What's new

What's new in VASAH

Every change that reaches your shop, in plain words. New releases come to every shop on their own — there is nothing to install, except the print bridge on a counter PC.

  1. Refunds pay back only what was paid

An online refund sends back only what the payment gateway took, a bank transfer is never paid twice, and an exchange sends the new size instead of a refund. Staff also see where a cash-on-delivery shopper wants their money.

  2. Shoppers can ask to hear when a sold-out size is back

On your website, a shopper can leave their mobile number on a size that has sold out. The request lands in Online store → Asked for, marked “wants to be told”; when the size is back on the shelf the list says so, and you tell them.

  3. Selling on credit needs the right person

A cashier's sale on credit, or on store credit, needs a manager's approval at the counter. For a shop that never sold on credit, a credit limit of 0 now means no credit; shops that already did keep 0 as no ceiling, and the screens say which.

  4. Two-factor sign-in at the counter, and your own PIN

Managers with two-factor sign-in can now sign in at the counter too. A mistyped PIN no longer signs the till out, and everyone can set their own PIN.

    How to do it →
  5. More keys at the counter

Ctrl+K for a coupon, Ctrl+U for dues, Ctrl+O for offline bills, Ctrl+E for the salesperson, Ctrl+M for a note and Alt+A for an alteration. Press ? at the counter to see them all.

    How to do it →
  6. Bills made offline keep their approvals

A bill made while the internet was down keeps the approval it was made with, however late it syncs. If the server refuses one, it waits in Sales → Offline bills for a manager to settle.

    How to do it →
  7. A blind cash count at day close

The cashier counts the drawer note by note before the expected cash is shown; managers always see it. It is a switch in Settings → Counter & policies.

    How to do it →
  8. A filed GST month stays closed

Once a month is marked filed, no new bill or credit note can land in it, and an expense claims its credit in the month it was booked.

    How to do it →
  9. Credit notes on the IRP, GSTR-2B matching, expenses and P&L

The back office raises credit notes and reports them to the IRP, matches your purchases with GSTR-2B, records expenses and shows profit and loss, the day book, what customers owe and agents' commission. Goods can go back to a supplier from Purchasing → Purchase returns.

  10. Freight on a purchase bill counts in its taxable value

Freight is taxed with the bill and spread into each piece's landed cost, and it exports balanced to Tally.

    How to do it →
  11. Reports sent on WhatsApp

Choose a report and the numbers it goes to — every night, every Sunday night or on the last night of the month — under Reports → Sent on WhatsApp. Like every message from your WhatsApp number, it needs its template approved by Meta.

  12. A queue for customers' data requests

When a shopper asks to correct or erase their details, the request lands in Sales → Data requests with its due date, shows in the bell, and the answer goes to them on WhatsApp.

    How to do it →
  13. Safer sign-in for staff

A password alone can no longer change someone's second factor, wrong passwords are counted for real, and temporary passwords can no longer be guessed.

  1. The print bridge starts with Windows

The small program that lets the counter PC print bills and tags now starts from the Startup folder and keeps a log of its own.

    How to do it →
  2. Temporary passwords must be changed at first sign-in

Someone signing in with a password you set for them chooses their own before anything else opens — in the back office and at the counter.

    How to do it →
  3. Change the WhatsApp and call numbers your website shows

Edit them in Settings → Business & GST. A number that cannot be dialled is refused, so shoppers never reach a dead line.

  4. Your website promises only the returns you give

If you take exchanges only, or no returns at all, the website's words say exactly that. A website can also be closed for a while, with a note to shoppers.

    How to do it →
  5. VASAH opens for every shop at vasah.app

Sign up in a few steps. Each shop gets its own database, its own login and its own web address — one shop can never see another's.

    Start free trial →
  6. Challans, purchase orders, transfers and credit notes print on A4

The papers that travel with goods and money print on A4 with your shop's name, like your other documents.

  7. A print bridge you download and pair yourself

Download it from Settings → Counter PC, pair it with your shop, and see from the back office whether each counter can print.

    How to do it →
  8. Your website says your own words

Set your website's headline and tagline in each language. Free delivery is promised only when one of your delivery rules gives it.

  9. Every page of your website, rebuilt

A new look made for the phone first — from the home page and product pages to the bag, checkout, orders and returns — in English, Gujarati and Hindi.

  10. A new look for the back office and the counter

Indigo and gold. At the counter: the piece on every line, a larger total, payment as tiles and a PIN pad. In the back office: a folding menu, Ctrl K to jump anywhere, and one bell for what needs doing.

  1. Your shop on your own domain

Put your website and back office on your own domain by yourself, from Settings → Your web address. Adding a domain shows the DNS records to enter at once.

    How to do it →
  2. A locked-out owner can reset their own password

With a one-time code to their phone — no need to ask anyone.

  1. Campaigns and the bag left behind

Send an approved offer to the customers who agreed to offers and see who came after it. A signed-in shopper who agreed to offers and left pieces in the bag gets one reminder — never between 9 pm and 9 am.

    How to do it →
  2. A WhatsApp inbox for your customers' replies

Customers' messages come to the WhatsApp inbox, with their bills, dues and orders beside the chat. Saved replies answer the common questions inside the 24 hours Meta allows.

The list starts on 3 October 2026. What VASAH did before then is part of how it works today.
