About VASAH

Vāsaḥ is Sanskrit for a garment.

We named our software after the thing our shops sell. VASAH is made for clothing shops in India — the counter, the back office, the shop's own website and WhatsApp, built around sizes and colours, karigars, the festive rush and staff who think in Gujarati or Hindi.

Made for the counter
Every screen starts from the rush at the till: scan or type a design code, a key for every step, and bills that keep going when the internet drops.
Your language
The counter and your website speak English, ગુજરાતી and हिन्दी, and the lessons do too. Staff learn in the language they think in.
Your data is yours
A database of your own, kept in India and backed up every night. Never sold, never used for advertising, and we look in only when you open support access.
Honest prices
Three plans, by the year or by the month, with the GST shown on our website. Message and payment charges are paid to MSG91 and Razorpay at their own rates.

The mark

A stroke of cloth, and a needle.

The V of VASAH is a broad stroke of cloth pierced by a zari needle. The eye sits at the top; the point passes through the baseline. Where the two meet, the needle slips under the cloth — the way a stitch holds a garment together.

The rest of the word is set in Bodoni, the typeface of fashion pages, and coloured like the cloth our shops sell: indigo neel and gold zari.

At work in a real shop, today.

Not a plan on paper: The Krishna's Collection in Surat bills at its counter, keeps its stock and sells on its own website on VASAH, with a database and a sign-in of its own.
