Terms of Service

1. About VASAH
VASAH is software for clothing businesses in India — a counter (point of sale), a back office and an online shop — provided over the internet as a service. In these terms “VASAH”, “we” and “us” mean The Krishna's Collection, which provides VASAH; “you” means the business that opens an account, and “your team” the people you let use it.

2. Your account
You open an account by proving a mobile number with a one-time code and describing your business. Whoever signs up must be at least 18 and entitled to act for the business.
You decide who on your team can sign in and what each person may do, and you are responsible for what is done in your account. Keep passwords and PINs private, and tell us at once if you think someone has got in who should not have.
3. Your data is yours
Everything your business keeps in VASAH — products, stock, purchases, bills, customers, staff, settings and files — belongs to you. We hold it and work on it only to run VASAH for you. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we never share it with another shop.
Each shop has a database of its own, opened with a login of its own that cannot open any other shop's database. You can export your records from your back office at any time.
4. When our team can see your shop
Our systems handle your data automatically to run the service — taking backups, applying updates and checking that your shop is healthy — without anyone reading it. Our team signs in to your shop only when you switch on support access in your back office. You choose how long it lasts, from one hour to three days; it ends by itself, and you can end it sooner. Everything done while it is on is written to your audit log.
The one exception is where the law obliges us to act, such as a lawful order from a court or a government authority. We tell you about it unless the law forbids us.
5. Trial, plans and payment
A new shop starts with a free trial of 30 days. To carry on after the trial, choose a plan in your back office and pay for it through Razorpay. Each plan's price, limits and billing period are shown before you pay. Prices are in Indian rupees, and GST is added where it applies. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
If the trial ends without a plan, or a renewal payment fails, you have 14 days to put it right. After that your shop keeps selling — the counter, online orders, returns and invoices all keep working — but changes to settings, users, prices, the catalogue and your website's content wait until the subscription is paid.
6. Cancelling and leaving
You can cancel from your back office at any time. Your plan stays active to the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed. We do not refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it.
Before you leave, export whatever you want to keep. Once your account is closed we delete your shop's database and files within 30 days, keeping only what the law requires us to keep, such as our invoices to you.
7. Using VASAH fairly
Use VASAH only for lawful business. You are responsible for what you sell, your prices, the taxes on your invoices and the messages you send your customers. VASAH works out GST from the rates in force, but your tax returns remain yours — check them with your accountant.
Do not try to reach another shop's data, to overload or attack the service, or to resell VASAH without our written agreement.
8. Your customers' personal data
When your customers shop with you, at the counter or online, your business decides what personal data to collect and why. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 your business is the Data Fiduciary for that data and we are its Data Processor: we process it only on your instructions and to run VASAH, and we keep it secure.
You give your customers the notice the law asks for — VASAH drafts the privacy pages for your website — and you answer their requests. VASAH helps: it records consent, and it can erase a customer's personal details while keeping the invoices the tax law requires.
9. Keeping VASAH running
We work to keep VASAH available around the clock, and every shop's data is backed up every day. Even so, we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We tell you in advance about planned work that could affect your shop, and if a change to VASAH would take away something you rely on, we tell you first.
10. Liability
We build and run VASAH with care, and provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost sales, and our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us for VASAH in those twelve months.
11. Suspension
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other shops or the service at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you time to put things right.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we post the new version here with its date, and tell account owners before it takes effect. If you keep using VASAH after that, the new terms apply.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to [email protected] first — most things are settled that way. If a dispute cannot be settled, the courts where we have our registered office have jurisdiction.
