How is freight added to cost?

On the purchase bill, under “Freight & charges — apportioned into landed cost”, fill “Freight / transport (₹)”, “Loading (₹)”, “Insurance (₹)” or “Other (₹)”.
Choose “Apportion by” — line value (the usual), quantity or weight. Each piece's cost then carries its share: the landed cost.
