UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, in Razorpay's own checkout on your website.

VASAH checks each payment's signature and asks Razorpay for the payment itself before it marks an order paid.
Paid even if the phone drops
With the webhook set, an order is marked paid even when the shopper's phone drops right after paying.
Refunds from the order
Cancel a paid order with a reason and the money goes back through Razorpay.
Before you start
What to have ready.
Razorpay account and KYC; live keys, not test keys.
Getting ready
Sign up with Razorpay and finish its KYC with your PAN, bank account and GSTIN.
Razorpay looks at your website before approving it: publish your policy pages first (Online store → Pages & banners → Pages), and put your website and an email that receives mail in Settings → Business & GST.
Use live keys, not test keys. A live Key ID starts with rzp_live_; a test key (rzp_test_) takes no real money.
Until keys are saved, your website takes cash on delivery only — nothing breaks meanwhile.

Switch it on
Switch it on, step by step.
Get your keys · put them in VASAH · add the webhook.
In Razorpay's dashboard, open the API keys page and make a live key. Copy the Key ID and the Key secret — Razorpay shows the secret only once.
In VASAH open Settings → Connections → Online payments. Set Mode to “Razorpay — live” and paste “Key ID” and “Key secret”.
Copy the webhook address shown on that panel (it ends with /webhooks/razorpay). In Razorpay's dashboard, add a webhook with that address, tick the payment.captured event and set a secret.
Paste the same secret in “Webhook secret”, letter for letter, and press Save.
Test it
Check it really works.
Test connection; a real small order, then refund it.
Press “Test connection”. You should see “Razorpay connected (key rzp_live_…). Online payments are LIVE.”
On your phone, order something cheap on your website and pay by UPI. The order shows in Online store → Orders as paid.
Open that order and press “Cancel…” with a reason. The money goes back through Razorpay — check the refund in Razorpay's dashboard.
When something goes wrong
What VASAH tells you, and what to do.
Cash on delivery only; a payment waiting to be confirmed.
Settings shows “No payment keys — the website takes cash on delivery only”: Mode is Simulated or a key is missing. Choose “Razorpay — live”, paste both keys and Save.
Test connection shows Razorpay's own error: the Key ID and Key secret are not from the same key. Copy both again from one live key — never mix test and live keys.
“Simulated payments are active. Payments succeed unless the card number ends in 0000.”: Mode is still Simulated — no real money moves.
Your daily summary says “online payment(s) could not be confirmed today — check them in Razorpay and confirm or refund the order”: a customer paid but the word never came back. Check the payment in Razorpay, then confirm or refund that order — and set the payment.captured webhook and its secret.
An order cancelled before Razorpay's word arrived keeps the money: refund it yourself in Razorpay's dashboard.

What it does not do.
- It is for your website. At the counter, UPI goes through your UPI QR and cards through the card machine.
- Test keys (rzp_test_) take no real money: your website needs live keys.
- Until keys are saved, the website takes cash on delivery only.
- An order cancelled before Razorpay's word arrives keeps the money — refund it yourself in Razorpay's dashboard.
