Before you start

What to have ready.

  • A UPI ID for the shop's bank account, like shopname@okicici
  • The owner's login, to save it in Settings → Business & GST
  • A phone at the counter that shows the money arriving

Set it up

Set it up, step by step.

The UPI ID becomes the counter's payment QR and the QR on a bill with money due.

In the back officeSettings → Business & GST → Bank & UPIWho can do it: owner

  1. In Business & GST, go to Bank & UPI.

  2. Type the Bank, Account no. and IFSC.

  3. Type the shop's UPI ID — like shopname@okicici — and press Save.

  4. Check at the counter: F6, then UPI shows a QR with your UPI ID under it. F6

Test it

Check it really works.

  1. Press F6, then press the UPI tile. F6

  2. The QR shows with Customer scans to pay ₹… via UPI, and your shop's UPI ID under it.

  3. The customer scans and pays. Look at their phone, or the shop's, for payment done — the counter does not check the bank.

  4. Type the UPI reference if you want it on record, then press F11. F11

When something goes wrong

What VASAH tells you, and what to do.

  • No QR on the payment screen: the shop's UPI ID is not saved. The owner adds it in Settings → Business & GST → Bank & UPI.

  • The customer shows a payment but your phone shows nothing: wait, and check your bank or UPI app before saving — VASAH cannot see it. If it never arrives, take the money another way.

  • The money goes to the wrong account: the UPI ID in Bank & UPI is wrong. Correct it and press Save.

Good to know

What it does not do.

  • VASAH does not see your bank: check the money has reached your phone or bank before you save the bill.
  • The QR pays your UPI ID directly — there is no payment gateway in between and no automatic confirmation.
  • On your website, online payments go through Razorpay instead.
