Card payments at the counter
The amount goes to the machine.
With a Pine Labs machine on Plutus Cloud, the counter sends the bill's amount to the machine — no re-typing — and the card's details come back to the bill by themselves. Any other machine keeps working by hand.

What you get
What it does for your shop.
No re-typing
Press Send at the counter and the machine shows the bill's amount.
Details come back
The card's last 4 digits and the approval number are recorded on the bill.
A machine per counter
The terminal map says which machine sits at which counter; one machine can serve them all.
Any machine by hand
Without Pine Labs, key the amount on the machine and type the last 4 digits — the bill is still recorded as card.
Before you start
What to have ready.
Plutus Cloud details and each terminal's serial number.
Getting ready
Without Pine Labs nothing changes: key the amount on any bank's machine, and at the counter type the card's last 4 digits and the approval code from the machine's slip.
Want that code on every card? Switch on “Card approval code needed on every card” under Settings → Counter & policies: a card bill is then not saved without it.
For the amount to go across by itself, ask Pine Labs to switch on Plutus Cloud for your machine and give you the security token, merchant ID, store ID and client ID.
Note each machine's serial number and its counter. Counter codes are in Settings → Shops & counters, for example C1.

Switch it on
Switch it on, step by step.
The Pine Labs details and the terminal map.
Open Settings → Connections → Card machine and set Mode to “Pine Labs — live”.
Fill “Security token”, “Merchant ID”, “Store ID” and “Client ID” exactly as Pine Labs gave them.
In “Terminal map (counter code → machine serial)” write each counter and its machine, like {"C1": "1234567"}. "*" stands for one machine that serves every counter.
Press Save.
Test it
Check it really works.
Test connection, then send a small bill to the machine.
Press “Test connection”: “Pine Labs Plutus Cloud reachable (store …). Card amounts push to the machine — no re-typing.”
At the counter, make a small bill, press F6, choose Card and press “Send … to card machine”. F6
The machine shows the amount. Tap or insert a card; the row turns “Paid on the machine”, and the approval code fills itself in. Confirm the bill.
When something goes wrong
What VASAH tells you, and what to do.
No terminal mapped, refused details, time out — and the manual way.
“Card machine: No card terminal mapped — add the machine's serial under Settings → Connections → Card machine”: this counter is not in the terminal map. Add it in Settings → Connections → Card machine.
“Pine Labs rejected the credentials: …”: a detail from Pine Labs is wrong — copy all four again.
“Card machine did not accept the amount: …”: the machine is off, offline or busy. Check it and press Send again — or take the card by hand.
“Timed out waiting for the card — the charge was cancelled; push again or enter manually”: nobody tapped in time. Send again, or key it on the machine.
No “Send … to card machine” button: Mode is Manual, or the counter is offline. Key the amount on the machine, then type the last 4 digits and the approval code from its slip — the bill is still recorded as card.
Good to know
What it does not do.
- Only Pine Labs machines with Plutus Cloud take the amount from VASAH. Other banks' machines work by hand.
- Only card payments go to the machine; UPI at the counter goes through your UPI QR.
- If nobody taps in time, the charge is cancelled — send it again, or take the card by hand.
