Close the day (register)

Count the drawer note by note, close the register and print the Z report.

Do it step by step
- Step 1:
After the last bill, press Ctrl+R — or click Register open in the top bar. Close day opens.
Press - Step 2:
Count the notes and coins and type how many of each — ₹500, ₹200, ₹100 … — and 0 for a note you have none of. Counted cash adds them up.
- Step 3:
The left side shows the day: Drawer opened without a sale, and Card slips today — each card bill with its approval code, to tick off against the card machine's settlement.
- Step 4:
Press Close & print Z report and say OK. The Z report prints.
- Step 5:
The message shows the cash expected in the drawer and the variance. A variance that is not 0 shows red — tell the manager.
