AI on your own Anthropic account
Ask your shop in your own words.
Save your own Anthropic key and ask “Aaj ka sale kitna hua?” — every number comes straight from your VASAH records. The same key writes descriptions in English, Gujarati and Hindi, drafts a style from a garment photo and reads a supplier's bill.

What you get
What it does for your shop.
Ask Vasah
Sales, udhaar, stock, top sellers, supplier dues and dead stock — asked in Hinglish, Gujarati, Hindi or English.
Numbers from your books
The AI only picks which figures to fetch; every number comes from your records.
Descriptions in three languages
Write with AI gives a style's description in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
From a photo
Photograph a garment for a draft style, or a supplier's bill for a purchase entry.
On WhatsApp too
The owner can ask from the daily-summary number, once customers' WhatsApp replies are connected.
Before you start
What to have ready.
Your own Anthropic key; who can ask.
Getting ready
The AI runs on your own Anthropic account: create one, set up billing, and make an API key.
Ask Vasah takes every number straight from your VASAH records; the AI only picks which figures to fetch.
Ask Vasah is for people who can see sales or money reports: the owner, store manager, accountant and online manager.
- An Anthropic account with billing set up — Anthropic charges you for what you use
- An API key from that account
- A phone or PC camera, for garment and bill photos
Switch it on
Switch it on, step by step.
Paste the key; leave the model and budget as they are.
Open Settings → Connections → AI catalog help and paste the key in “Anthropic API key”.
Leave “Model” as it is. Leave “Daily budget (tokens)” empty for the usual 200,000 a day — typing 0 switches the assistant off.
Press Save. There is no Test connection for AI — the test is a question.
Test it
Check it really works.
Ask Vasah, From photo, Write with AI.
Open Ask Vasah and press “Aaj ka sale kitna hua?”. The answer gives today's sales from your bills.
Open Catalogue → Styles & variants → New style → “From photo” and photograph a garment. Name, category, colours and descriptions are filled in for you to check.
On a style, press Edit → “Write with AI (EN/GU/HI)” for a description in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
When something goes wrong
What VASAH tells you, and what to do.
No key, a refused key, the daily budget, an unreadable photo.
“Add an Anthropic API key under Settings → Connections → AI catalog help to use the assistant” (or “…to generate descriptions”, “…first”): no key is saved. Paste it in Settings → Connections → AI catalog help.
“Anthropic API: …”: Anthropic refused — the key is wrong or the account has no credit. Check it in your Anthropic account.
“Today's AI budget (… tokens) is used up. It resets at midnight, or the owner or a store manager can raise it under Settings → Connections → AI catalog help.”: wait for midnight, or raise “Daily budget (tokens)” in AI catalog help.
“Could not read the bill reliably — try a straighter, better-lit photo” or “Photo too large — retake it a bit further away or crop it”: take the photo again.
“That took too many steps — try asking a simpler, single question.” or “The model returned an unexpected format — try again”: ask again, one thing at a time.
Good to know
What it does not do.
- It runs on your own Anthropic account and key.
- A daily budget caps use — 200,000 tokens unless you change it — and resets at midnight.
- Ask Vasah is for people who can see sales or money reports: the owner, store manager, accountant and online manager.
- A blurred or crooked bill photo cannot be read — take it again, straight and well lit.
