   Step 1:

   Key the bill amount on the card machine and take the card there first.

   Step 2:

   At the counter press F6, then the Card tile.

   Press F6

   Step 3:

   When the machine's slip says approved, type the card's last 4 digits in Last 4 digits — never the full number.

   Step 4:

   In Approval code on the slip, type the code the slip prints as APPR or AUTH CODE. The label says needed when your shop asks for it on every card.

   Step 5:

   Press F11. The bill shows the card as **4242 Appr 482913, and so do Sales and the day's card slips.
