   Step 1:

   Select the piece's line and press Alt+A.

   Press Alt+A

   Step 2:

   Write what to do — length, fitting, fall & pico — set Ready on, and press OK.

   Step 3:

   Take payment as usual. A pickup slip with the promised day prints with the bill.

   Step 4:

   Later, press Alt+L for the list: Ready when the work is done, Handed over when the customer collects it.

   Press Alt+L
