What must a garment label declare?

  1. Legal Metrology asks for the packer's name and address, the month and year of packing, the MRP (incl. taxes), the net quantity, the country of origin and a consumer-care contact.

  2. If your shop bags and tags pieces itself, press “Declare this shop as the packer” in Settings → Business & GST, and name a grievance officer there.

  3. Print them with the “Legal Metrology tag 70×40 mm” template in Catalogue → Label printing.
