When the scanner does not scan

Do it step by step

   Step 1:

   “No scanner found on this PC — check it is plugged in and powered on”: check the cable and the power, and that Windows sees it.

   Step 2:

   “The scanner is busy or offline — close other scanning software and try again”.

   Step 3:

   “A scan is already running — wait for the scanner to finish”.

   Step 4:

   “Print bridge not running on this PC — install it from Settings → Counter PC (it also drives the scanner), or use Attach photo / PDF instead.”: install the bridge, or take a phone photo and use “Attach photo / PDF”.
